Maulik Naik – Solving Complex Challenges and Driving Network Efficiency
As a self-described and passionate problem solver, Optima’s Maulik Naik thrives on tackling complex technical challenges, optimizing network performance, and implementing emerging cloud technologies.
“I’m always eager for opportunities to bring my collaborative problem-solving skills and dedication to innovation to forward-thinking organizations,” Maulik says. “I enjoy contributing to the development of resilient, scalable networks while continuing to grow alongside cutting-edge technologies.”
Currently on assignment with the City of New York through Optima Global Solutions, Maulik leverages his hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network systems. His work helps ensure critical infrastructure remains available, high-performing, and resilient—making sure data gets where it needs to go, when it needs to get there.
Before joining Optima, Maulik managed large-scale VoIP infrastructure for a major financial services organization. In that role, he supported multi-site call center operations while overseeing systems responsible for call recording, regulatory compliance, and data accessibility for legal investigations and audits.
Outside of his professional work, Maulik enjoys a variety of activities, including playing the tabla, where he continues refining his skills in classical rhythms and compositions. Music, he notes, provides balance in high-pressure environments while helping keep his mind sharp and disciplined.
Looking ahead, Maulik is particularly interested in the growing role of AI-powered systems in network management, where intelligent monitoring, predictive maintenance, and automated remediation are rapidly redefining “Day 2” operations in modern IT environments. Driven by a passion for continuous learning and innovation, he also hopes to inspire others by demonstrating that deep technical expertise can coexist with creativity and empathy—creating environments where people feel confident asking questions, developing their skills, and taking ownership of their work while pursuing new opportunities for growth.
